Registration Information

 Please fill in the online registration form ( to register for the LIBER 2016 Conference in Helsinki. Please note that the form must be completed during one session.

All reservations, including the social programme and accommodation, should be made on the same form, including the events that are included in the conference fee. Please make sure that you receive an automatic reply for your registration as proof of a successful transmission. If you have registered more than one person at the same time, the automatic reply will be sent to you only.

In addition, the Conference Bureau will send a receipt by email  confirming your registration and payment have been processed.


Registration Fees and payment deadlines

 The registration fee is based on the date of registration. All fees are VAT 0%. No VAT will be added.

* Day registrations may only register for one-day attendance and cannot register for the whole Conference as three separate days.

** Accompanying person means a spouse, a relative, or a friend who is not representing any institution or company, but is travelling along with a conference delegate. If there are two persons from one institution attending as delegates, each of them must register independently.

Registration fee includes:

  • Full participation in the entire Conference Programme and Receptions
  • Admission to the professional exhibition
  • Conference bag and a name badge
  • Lunch and tea/coffee on Conference days
  • Possibility to register to other social events by paying the appropriate fee

The registration fee does not cover insurance or accommodation. The organisers recommend travel insurance.

Day registration fee includes:

  • Participation in the Conference Programme on the day in question
  • Conference bag
  • Lunch and tea/coffee on the day in question
  • Any Reception on the day in question
  • Possibility to register to other social events by paying the appropriate fee

Accompanying person’s registration fee includes:

  • Participation in the Conference Programme and Receptions
  • Lunch during Conference days (participation to be indicated on the registration form)
  • A name badge
  • City sightseeing tour
  • Possibility to register to other social events by paying the appropriate fee

Terms of payment

All payments (registration fees, social programme and hotel deposit) must be paid before attending the conference. You will always receive a Confirmation/receipt of paid fees by email. If you have not received it, please contact the Congress Bureau at The conference delegate is responsible for all bank charges. On the registration form you can choose between three payment options:

  1. Credit card: VISA, Master Card or Eurocard are accepted.
    Please follow the instructions given on the on-line form and proceed to payment immediately (have your card and security codes available).
  1. Invoice as an email attachment (pdf)
    This invoice is automatically generated from the data that you have inserted on the registration form. No invoicing fee is added. Payment is due within 14 days or on the next registration deadline date if it is less than two weeks away. If you register 15 days before the registration closing, or later, you must pay the fee the same day.
  1. The invoice can be issued manually by the Congress Bureau. Please choose Invoice as your payment option on the form. You can ask your purchase order and other requested information to be included on the invoice. Payment is due within 14 days. An invoicing fee of EUR 12 will be added. The invoice will be sent by email (pdf). Unfortunately we cannot send e-invoices. Note: manual invoicing ends 2 weeks prior to the registration closing.


Congress Bureau Tavicon Ltd. will send you a Confirmation by email after receiving the registration and payment. Kindly check that all your details and bookings are correct. You will be asked to present your Confirmation at the registration desk when you arrive.

Cancellations and Refunds

All cancellations and changes must be made in writing (email) to Tavicon Ltd. An unpaid registration is not a cancellation, and cancellation fees apply even for unpaid registrations.

Cancellation received by 22 April 2016: full refund except for the administration fee EUR 50 for registration and EUR 20 for hotel reservation. No refund will be paid for cancellations or changes made after 22 April 2016. If you can send someone else instead, an administration fee of EUR 50 will be charged for the change.

There will be no refund for no-shows. Insurance to cover the loss of payment for registration fees and accommodation costs is highly recommended by the organisers.

Please note that for organisational reasons possible refunds will be made after the Conference. All refunds will be made at the exchange rate applicable on that date. Neither the Organisers nor the Congress Bureau can be held responsible for any loss resulting from alterations in exchange rates. To receive your refund, please send full bank account details to the Congress Bureau.
